Professional Women Announce Women of Distinction

Canandaigua, NY - The Professional Women of the Finger Lakes announces the Women of Distinction Award nominees. The winners will be announced at a dinner planned for May 3, at 5:30 pm at The Inn on the Lake.

Meghan Musnicki, an American rower and two-time Olympic champion, will give the keynote address at dinner. Meghan competed at the 2012 and 2016 Summer Olympics in the women's eight, where she won gold both times. The event is a major fundraiser to help underwrite the scholarship program. The PWFL gives a minimum of five scholarships to women on an annual basis ranging from $500 - $1000 each. The organization has given out more than $90,000 in scholarships over the last twelve years.
