Seneca Falls One Car Crash

At approximately 2:41pm on Monday January 9, 2017 the Town of Seneca Falls Police responded along with the Seneca Falls Fire Department and North Seneca Ambulance to the area of 1625 Black Brook Road for the report of a one car personal vehicle motor vehicle crash.  The report was that the vehicle had hit a NYSEG pole and had ended up off the road. When officers arrived on scene, the driver, who was identified as Rachel E. Sloan of Seneca Falls, stated that she had hit a patch of ice, lost control of her vehicle and hit the pole head on.  The impact of the vehicle cause the NYSEG pole to cut in half. North Seneca Ambulance arrived on location and transported Sloan to Strong Memorial Hospital for treatment of minor injuries.  The vehicle sustained heavy front end damage and was towed from the scene.  Sloan was issued a ticket for having an unregistered motor vehicle.
