The defendant 47 year old Timothy James Coyne was arrested, and charged with DWI/aggravated DWI and fail to keep right. The defendant drove his vehicle north on Algerine Street, crossed over the center line, exited the highway* entered the field and was stuck in the mud when the Deputy arrived on scene.
The defendant failed several field sobriety tests. The defendant was transported to the Ontario County Sheriffs Office for a breath test, the test determined the he had .30 % of alcohol by weight in his blood.
The defendant was arraigned at the Hopewell Town Court by Judge Wooden and committed to jail in lieu of $1,500 cash bail. The defendant's driving privileges were suspended at the time of the arraignment.The defendant will appear at the Hopewell Town Court at a later date.
