The Seneca County Sheriff reports that Deputies arrested Craig G. Cavanaugh 29, of 5322 Rt. 89 Romulus NY on charges of Menacing 2nd degree, Harassment 2nd degree and three counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child
The charges stem from a domestic incident between Cavanaugh and a Town of Varick resident where Cavanaugh is accused of striking the Varick resident in the face and then threatening a Town of Seneca Falls resident with a baseball bat. The alleged incident took place in front of three children all under seventeen years of age resulting in the Endangering charges. Cavanaugh was arraigned before the Fayette Town Court where he was sentenced to the SCCF on $1500 cash or $3000 secured bond. Cavanaugh is to appear before the Varick court 08-01-12 for further court action. An order of protection was issued.
