Waterloo Man Charged with Selling Fake Drugs

On July 3rd, 2012, the Seneca County Sheriff's Office Narcotics Division arrested Travis M. Vorhis, 22, formerly of 12 1/2 South Virginia Street, Waterloo, New York, on two counts of Sale of an Imitation Controlled Substance.

The charges stem from an investigation where Vorhis allegedly sold imitation controlled substances on two separate occasions in the Village of Waterloo.  It is alleged that Vorhis claimed the substances were Lysergic Acid Diethylamide (commonly known as "LSD" or "Acid").  Vorhis is currently remanded to the Seneca County Correctional Facility without bail on a violation of parole.  Vorhis will appear in the Waterloo Village Court on July 11, 2012 at 9am to answer the charges.
