On 7/19/12 at about 4:08pm Ontario County Sheriffs along with Naples Town Fire and Ambulance responded to County Rd 12 north of Rhine St. in the Town of Naples for a reported single car MVA. Upon arriving Deputies observed a grey 1998 Pontiac 4 door sedan facing easterly, that sustained heavy front end damage and was blocking the roadway. Deputies determined that Ms. Jessica A. Miller (21yo female of Naples, NY) the vehicles owner, was operating the vehicle south on County Rd 12 when the vehicle traveled off the west shoulder of the roadway and struck a guide rail at its end point head-on. Mr. Ross W. Thompson (27yo male also of Naples, NY) was seated in the front passenger seat. Ms. Miller's two children ages 1 (female) and 3 (male) were in child seats in the rear of the vehicle. Mr. Thompson was treated and released at the scene. Ms. Miller's two children complained of minor pain and were transported by Naples Town Ambulance to F.F. Thompson Hospital in the City of Canandaigua as a precautionary measure to be evaluated. Ms. Miller remained uninjured in the accident. The cause of the accident is currently under investigation however, Ms. Miller reported to Deputies that a faulty traction control system on the vehicle caused her to lose control Bob's Alignment of Naples, NY responded for the tow service.
