On 11-02-12 at 5:17pm Ontario County Sheriff's Deputies responded to a two vehicle crash on County Road 7. 51-year old David Forbes of Canandaigua was stopped southbound waiting to turn left into a driveway on CR 7. 59-year old Debra Varney of Colorado Springs, CO was southbound on CR 7 directly behind Forbes' vehicle. She did not see it stopped in front of her and struck it in the southbound lane of CR 7. Varney was transported to Newark Wayne Hospital by Port Gibson Ambulance to be checked over for chest pain. Port Gibson Fire assisted at the scene. Varney was issued a citation for following too closely. All involved were wearing their seatbelts. The vehicles airbags did not deploy.
