54 year old Steven Brown of Clifton Springs was arrested for DWI (refusal) leaving the scene of a property damage accident and failure to keep right. Mr. Brown struck several mailbox's on Freshour Rd. in the Town of Hopewell and fled the scene. He was stopped on Taylor Rd. in the Town of Hopewell a short time later it was determined that he was driving under the influence alcohol and refused to submit a breathalyser test and was committed to jail to await pre-arraignment in Ontario County Court 11-02-12.
