On 11/16/12 at or about 2:48pm 50-year old Ruth Reid of Middlesex was arrested at the Canandaigua Super Wal-Mart. She is charged with petit larceny, a class A misdemeanor. She is accused of walking out of Wal-Mart with 25 items in her cart and made no attempt to pay for them. The value of the property taken was $124. Reid was issued an appearance ticket and released. She will appear before the Hopewell Town Court at a later date to answer the charge.
