34 year old Daniel McWilliams of Canandaigua was arrested on 11/18/12 at or about 1648 hours. He is charged with two counts of endangering the welfare of a child (class a misdemeanors) and Harassment in the second degree (a violation). This arrest was after and an incident that occurred at the Super Wal-Mart located at 4238 Recreation Drive
in the Town of Hopewell. He is accused of engaging in an argument with his wife in front of his children 3 and 4 years of age. The argument caused them to become upset. During such argument Mr. McWilliams allegedly shoved a shopping cart which had a 4 year old child in it; towards his wife causing it to strike her. Mr. McWilliams was arraigned in front of the Hopewell Town Court and remanded to the Ontario County Jail in lieu of $500 cash or $1000 bond. He will appear before the Hopewell Town Court at a later date to answer the charges. An OOP was issued protecting the victim.
