Mr. Leach was traveling north on Taylor road when the vehicle had a mechanical issue causing him to lose control of the vehicle. Mr. Leach's vehicle "fish-tailed" and then travelled off the southbound shoulder of the highway, causing it to overturn.
Two passengers in Mr. Leach's vehicle, Stephen Verstreate and Jahaira Maldonnado, were transported to Clifton Springs Hospital by Canandaigua Ambulance for minor injuries.
Taylor road was closed for approximately 45 minutes while the accident was being investigated and while the tow company removed the vehicle. No tickets were issued.
Hopewell & Clifton Springs Fire Departments assisted at the scene.
