On 01/26/13 at or about 9:05 PM Ontario County Sheriff Deputies arrested 42-year old Derek F. O. Okundaye of Penn Yan for aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle in the third degree and leaving the scene of a property damage motor vehicle accident. He is accused of causing damage to a business's fence and then leaving the scene without reporting the accident or notifying the owner. This occurred about 3:45 PM on State Route 5 in the Town of Seneca and was observed by a witness who called 911. Derek was located at his residence in Penn Yan where he was taken into custody. He was arraigned in Seneca Town Court before Judge Campbell and committed to the Ontario County Jail in lieu of $250.00 cash bail or $500.00 insurance bond. He will appear again in Seneca Town Court on 01/30/13 at 6:30 PM.
