25 year old Suzalyn Hoffmeier of Watkins Glen was northbound on Route 21 when she lost control of her vehicle which crossed the southbound lane and struck a ditch on the west side of the roadway. Cheshire Fire Department and Canandaigua Emergency Squad extricated her from the vehicle and she was transported to Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester NY via Mercy Flight for her injuries, which were believed to be serious but not life-threatening. Ms. Hoffmeier was issued tickets for having no license and failing to keep right. She will appear in Canandaigua Town Court at a later date to answer the charges.
