The defendant 20 year old Irene George of Rochester was arrested and charged with Falsifying Business Records 1st following a complaint from Macy's. The defendant is alleged to have entered fraudulent returns into the computer, put the proceeds of the returns on gift cards and then using the gift cards to make purchases in the store. The defendant was issued an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in Victor Town Court at a later date to answer the charge.
