Junius Woman Airlifted to Strong After Striking Tree

The Seneca County Sheriffs Office reports Deputies responded to a one car PIMVA on Caroline Rd in the Town of Junuis.  Kimberly J. Bennett age 44, of 907 Caroline Rd was traveling southbound on Caroline Rd when she drove off the edge of the roadway causing the vehicle to strike a tree.  Bennett complained of stomach, neck, and back pain and was flown to Strong Memorial Hospital by Mercy Flight.  The backseat passenger, Stephen L. Short age 2 1/2, of 850 Dublin Rd suffered an abrasion to his forehead and was taken to Geneva General Hospital as a precaution.  Magee Fire Department, North Seneca Ambulance and Fingerlakes Ambulance were on scene to assist.
