Suspicious Vehicle Leads to DWI Arrest

Macedon Police report the arrest of Jeffrey Williams 42 of Newark NY.

Police were investigating a suspicious vehicle on Monroe-Wayne County Line road and 31 F. The investigation revealed that Williams pulled over to use his cell phone and while still in the road came to a complete stop to talk. Williams was intoxicated and was arrested for Felony DWI, Felony Aggravated Unlicensed Operation 1st degree, operating motor vehicle without an interlock device failure to submit to a breath pre-screen and open container. The Felony DWI stems from 2 prior convictions from Monroe County in 2006 and 2011. Williams was arraigned in Town Court and was remanded to the Wayne County Jail on no bail due to prior convicted felonies. Williams is to appear in Town Court on Tuesday April 30th to answer the charges.
