Promoting Prison Contraband

On May 28th, 2013, at about 11:35am, Seneca County Sheriff's Investigators arrested Anthony L. Davis, 31, no permanent address, on two counts of Promoting Prison Contraband in the second degree and one count of Tampering with Physical Evidence.

The charge stems from an incident where Davis possessed contraband while being confined as an inmate in the Seneca County Correctional Facility.  While Correction Officers were attempting to seize the contraband from Davis, he flushed one item down the toilet.  The item was able to be recovered.

Davis was arraigned in the Lodi Town Court and remanded to the Seneca County Correctional Facility on $2,500 cash bail/$5,000 secured bond.  Davis is to reappear in the Romulus Town Court on May 31, 2013 at 11am.
