If these shorter fall days have you thinking about spring planting, mark your calendar for Fall Dirt Day 2012!
Cornell Cooperative Extension Schuyler County is offering Dirt Day on October 20, 2012, 10 a.m.-noon at Stillman’s Greenhouse on Route 14 in Montour Falls. You are invited to bring in up to three soil samples for a FREE check-up before spring planting season. We’ll test your soil pH and make recommendations for what you plan to grow this season. We’ll also provide information on new phosphorous use regulations in New York. Stop by and see us to get started with your best garden ever!
