The Professional Women of the Finger Lakes will hold a Breast Cancer Breakfast, sponsored by Sweet Expressions, with all proceeds going to the Sands Cancer Center.
Sands Cancer Center will use the donation to help purchase heated blankets. Because machinery used in radiation rooms needs to be kept very cold, the rooms can be cold and uncomfortable for women undergoing treatment. Heated blankets will keep them warm and more comfortable during their radiation treatment.
Guest speakers will include Carole Lillis, cancer survivor, and Wendy Mulholland, Director of Diagnostic Imaging at Thompson Health.
