Biomass Seminar iCal

Friday, May 3 2013 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM

What in the world is Biomass? Why does it matter? What should we know about it? And what might it mean for our future? How do we as a society begin to value ‘waste’  as nutrients which can be upcycled or optimized?

In nature, nothing goes to waste and we as a society need to learn how best to mimic this type of efficiency.  How might we think harder about how we can create value from waste?

Guest Presenter: Kathleen Draper, Chair of the Center for Sustainable Living and owner of Finger Lakes Biochar
