How Does Your Garden Grow? iCal

Thursday, June 27 2013 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM

Your garden is off to a great start but there are still some nagging questions that you haven't had the time to figure out the answers to.  Perhaps you aren't sure what could be eating your lettuce and what to do about it or maybe you wonder how much watering you need to do during the hot, dry spells we might get.  Seneca County Cornell Cooperative Extension (SCCCE) has just the workshop for you!  The Seneca Falls and Ovid libraries are each hosting a workshop series titled "How Does Your Garden Grow?" and the June workshop is a time for you to bring your gardening questions and have them answered!
Presented by SCCCE Master Gardeners, the June session will be a time to have questions answered by the Master Gardeners.  This Q&A session is the perfect opportunity to bring in a plant that may have a disease or insect damage to determine what should be done.  Or bring in an insect to be identified.  Any gardening question is welcome!
The Seneca Falls workshop is Thursday, June 27th from 6:00-7:00PM.  Workshops are free of charge thanks to support from Seneca Meadows.  All workshops take place at the library at 47 Cayuga Street, Seneca Falls.
Each library will also host a question and answer hour in July, Ovid on the second Thursday of the month and Seneca Falls on the fourth Thursday.
Advance registration is encouraged and appreciated so we can better plan for the classes.  Please call the Ovid Library at 607-869-3031 or the Seneca Falls Library at 315-568-8265 to sign up or call SCCCE at 315-539-9251.
