Highway of Valor Tribute Ride iCal

In July 2009 Gov. Patterson signed into law for the first time and the only time in New York State, a state highway dedicated to the men and women who served in the Vietnam War. New York State Route 38 is now designated as, the “Vietnam Veterans Memorial Highway of Valor”.

The Vietnam Veterans of America, Chapter 377, Chapter 480 and Chapter 704, also Chapter 17 of The Blue Knights, will be holding The Vietnam Veterans Memorial Highway of Valor – “Tribute Ride”.

The ride will begin at 10:00 am on Saturday, July 20, 2013 from The Owego Free Academy on Sheldon Guile Blvd. in Owego, NY.  The 100 mile ride will end at the American Legion in Hannibal, NY.  This ride is free and open to the public – Bikes, cars, trucks, military vehicles, planes and helicopters are welcome.  Please register between 8:00 & 9:45 AM the day of the ride.

The ride will make one stop for food and gas at the American Legion in  Groton, NY – Home of Medal of Honor Recipient: 2LT Terrance Graves, USMC.
