The Cornell University Klezmer Ensemble is a musical student organization that comes together to perform traditional Eastern European Jewish dance music.  The group is composed of students, faculty members and community members.  The music is most often in a minor key and has unique rhythms that make it interesting and very easy to dance to.  It was traditionally most often performed at weddings and other celebrations.    The ensemble is led by Director Ryan Zawel, trombonist and member of the Joel Rubin Jewish Music Ensemble and, President David Zakalik.

Tickets for this concert are $10 per person and are available at Willard Chapel, 17 Nelson St., Auburn, N.Y. or by calling 315-252-0339.  This concert is a benefit for the Community Preservation Committee/Willard Memorial Chapel.
