Home School Nature Program - Duck Banding iCal

Friday, September 27 2013 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM

Homeschoolers ages 5-12 will participate in a duck banding project to help wildlife biologists understand duck populations and distribution. We’ll determine the species and age of the ducks, secure an aluminum band around the leg of the ducks and then release them into the wild. Waterfowl curriculum and interactive activities will be incorporated into the program. Fee: $7/child.

Space is limited. Registration required. Call 315-365-3588 or e-mail montezuma@audubon.org.
