Every month Waterloo Laundry Depot choses a local Charity to support. April is Waterloo Little League. Help support the Waterloo Little League by bringing your laundry in on Monday's - 10% of every wash/fluff/fold business in April will be donated to the Waterloo Little League! On Saturday April 15th from 10a - 3p - drop off your winter coats, comforters - Laundry Depot will Launder each item for $12 - of that, Donated to Waterloo Little League will be $4

5th Annual Literacy Volunteers of Seneca County Spelling Bee

It's time for the 5th Annual Literacy Volunteers of Seneca County spelling bee!      

The bee will be 10am Saturday, March 25, in the Waterloo High School auditorium on Stark Street. 

Please come as a spectator and cheer on the teams. There will be a silent auction, a book sale, and refreshments. Get out of the house and join us for a fun community event!

FL Health Interviewing for Long Term Care Positions

Finger Lakes Health will be hosting open interviews for Long Term Care Nurses (LPN/RN's), Certified Nurse Aides and the Nurse Aid Training Program.

 

Interviews will be held on Thursday, March 23 from 2-4 p.m. in the Human Resources office at 45 Seneca Street, Geneva. No appointment is necessary.

SF Art Walk Seeking Artists

Seneca Falls, March 22, 2017---- Seneca Falls ArtWalk2017 is seeking artists to show off their talents in Fine Arts and Fine Crafts during the fourth annual Art Walk.

Hosted by the Seneca Falls Business Association, ArtWalk2017 will feature two dozen artists displaying their work in downtown businesses and on the sidewalks.  Artists of all mediums are invited to register for this free non-juried show.  ArtWalk2017 will begin on Friday evening May 19, from 5 to 9 PM with artist receptions, music and wine tastings and continue on Saturday May 20 from 10 to 4 PM.

Artists are welcomed and encouraged to give demonstrations.  Additional attention this year will be given to young student artists, as special arrangements will be made to host their displays as well as art to sell.

Artists wishing to show their work should not delay in getting an application by contacting the event coordinator, JillMarie Meyers sfartwalk2017@aol.com or pick one up at Art Works Gallery, 109 Fall St., Seneca Falls.  There is no charge for participating in the event!
