Help raise money for Waterloo Little League

Every month Waterloo Laundry Depot choses a local Charity to support. April is Waterloo Little League. Help support the Waterloo Little League by bringing your laundry in on Monday's - 10% of every wash/fluff/fold business in April will be donated to the Waterloo Little League! On Saturday April 15th from 10a - 3p - drop off your winter coats, comforters - Laundry Depot will Launder each item for $12 - of that, Donated to Waterloo Little League will be $4

2017 Annual Spring Bazaar

Local vendors/crafters are needed for the Spring Bazaar to be held Sat., March 25, 2017 from 9am to 1pm at the First United Methodist Church. Space limited--first come, first serve basis.  Fee must be paid to reserve your space.  Lunch available for purchase.  Call Lindy at 315-323-8759 for application.

5th Annual Literacy Volunteers of Seneca County Spelling Bee

It's time for the 5th Annual Literacy Volunteers of Seneca County spelling bee!      

The bee will be 10am Saturday, March 25, in the Waterloo High School auditorium on Stark Street. 

Please come as a spectator and cheer on the teams. There will be a silent auction, a book sale, and refreshments. Get out of the house and join us for a fun community event!

Animal Encounters: Feeding Series

Foxes and turtles and lizards. Oh my! Discover all of the Amazing Animal Ambassadors that call the Cayuga Nature Center home every Saturday at noon! Our Animal Care staff will be on hand to answer all of your questions as part of our series of public feedings.

Each week of the month will focus on a specific group of animals:

  • First Saturdays: Turtles and Tortoise Ambassadors
  • Second Saturdays: Lizard Ambassadors
  • Third Saturdays: Snake Ambassadors
  • Fourth Saturdays: Outdoor Animal Ambassadors
  • Fifth Saturdays (months when applicable): Indoor Mammal Ambassadors

Adoption Event

Fetch A Friend Dog Rescue will be holding a dog adoption event at Tractor Supply in Seneca Falls on Saturday, March 25th from 12 pm until 4 pm.  We've got some great dogs looking for their loving forever homes and we hope to find the perfect fit for them!

Already have a furry family memeber? You can also pick up some yummy gourmet treats and all procedes support FAF.

Applications will be available but dogs willl not go directly to their new homes from the event as to ensure a smooth transition.

St. Peter's Parish is having a chicken barbecue at St. Dominic's Parish Center at the corner of Route 21 and Main St. in Shortsvill Saturday, March 25th. Pickup will be from 4-6PM, eat in until 7PM. Tickets are nine dollars, pre-sale only and will be available after mass at all three worship sites the weekends of March 4-5 and 11-12. They are also avaialbe at the Parish office.
