Auburn's Stardust Foundation Shuts Down

After seven years, the Stardust Foundation of Central New York is calling it quits. The Auburn Citizen reports the foundation, which has invested over 12 million dollars in projects around the city of Auburn, closed down New Year's Eve.

The group first opened in 2007, with an initial plan of spending six million dollars over five years. Although the foundation is now history, the Stardust Entrepreneurial Institute, which worked with the foundation, will continue under a new name.
