Trumansburg Travel Baseball Treasurer Arrested

The former treasurer of Trumansburg Travel Baseball entered a not guilty plea this week to stealing more than 63-HUNDRED dollars from the non-profit league.

48 year old Debbie Grunder of Interlaken was arrested last week on felony grand larceny and falsifying business records charges.  An investigation into 18 months of the league's bank records by Trumansburg police revealed Grunder used the group's money to rent a party tent, pay her utility bills and purchase gasoline.  She paid the personal expenses directly from the league's account.

The summer baseball league is for kids between the ages of 9 and 15 and has an annual operating budget of 5-THOUSAND dollars.  Grunder is free on bail.
