Yates Chamber President Says Downtown PY Businesses Suffer Heavy Losses

Yates County Chamber President and CEO Mike Linehan has been surveying the flood damage to Downtown Penn Yan businesses and he says shop-keepers there feel they have been punched in the gut.

Once basic clean up work is complete village leaders and businesses  will have to figure out what to do about parking as two lots are out of service for now.

Linehan asks people to stay out of the downtown area for now.

We will let you know about business as they re-open.
