Local Leaders Happy Grants Made Available for Flood Victims

Governor Andrew M. Cuomo announced Friday a new round of immediate state disaster recovery assistance to help residents and business owners who incurred damage from this month's flash flooding that severely damaged nearly 150 homes in Yates County. County Legislature Chairman Timothy Dennis gave us the reaction to the news of the grants being made available

State Senator Tom O Mara was very happy with how the different levels of government worked so well together.

Being made available is up to $10,000 in disaster assistance for affected homeowners and renters struggling to recover, and as much as $25,000 in recovery funds for small businesses.  State workers will be in the parking lot at the Penn Yan fire house today to assist victims with their applications.
