Yates Humane Society Helps Flood Victims

When severe flooding hit Yates County last month, many people, ranging in all ages and community groups pitched in to do what they could to help out. The Humane Society of Yates County was no different as board President Mary Schliermacher explains.

Schliermacher said it wasn't just shelter that Bonnie worked on.

The shelter took in five cats and one dog in the days after the flood.  Three cats and one dog remain as their owners continue to clean up or search for housing.
