South Street Project in Two Parts

We told you earlier this month about a big road project happening soon on South Street in Auburn. The first part of the project begins next week. City Engineer Bill Lupien tells Finger Lakes News Radio about the scope of the project.

It's similar to what is wrapping up on Franklin Street. In fact, Lupien says the South Street pipeline is roughly as old as what was torn up and replaced on Franklin.

The project will then pause for winter before resuming next spring, where repaving will get underway.
