Sheriff Says There Is An Advantage To Training Recruits Locally

Twenty four new police officers, who will be going to work at ten Finger Lakes area law enforcement agencies graduate from the Finger Lakes Law Enforcement Academy Wednesday night. Ontario County Sheriff Phil Povero says there is a real advantage to training local recruits locally.

Officers get their badges Wednesday at 6 PM at Canandaigua Academy.
