Are you ready for some cone zones? It's not quite construction season yet, but Auburn City Council kickstarted the work last night when councilors approved 3 resolutions authorizing the city's financial obligations for projects that include new culverts over the North Hunter Brook, repaving West Genesee St. and a new bridge and realignment of North Division street.
City Clerk Chuck Mason said on Friday's Finger Lakes Morning News the projects have been a long time coming.
Mason added city officials will keep residents and business owners will be kept in the loop.
The entire cost of the three projects could top $10 million. The city's share is pegged at just over a million dollars.
