Travelers Advisory Issued for Middlesex and Benton

Yates County Sheriff Ron Spike has issued a "Travelers Advisory" for parts of Benton and Middlesex due to roads flooding from heavy rains last night. Route 364 in Middlesex is closed between Town Line Rd and N. Vine Valley Rd due to flooding.

Pre-Emption Road in Benton was closed between Kashong Switch Road and Earls Hill Road late last night due to flooding.  It re-opened to traffic shortly after 1 this morning.

Sheriff Spike says county and town highway department crews are working on the situation and and local fire departments are busy pumping basements.
