Farmers in the Finger Lakes are hoping for a standing room only crowd at the Ward O'Hara Agriculture Museum in Auburn on Monday when Partners for Healthy Watersheds hosts a discussion on the storage, treatment and application of manure.
American Dairy Association Northeast Vice President Beth Meyer said on Friday's Finger Lakes Morning News it's an opportunity to give farmers a stronger voice.
She added farmers deserve credit for their best practices.
The conversation gets underway at 6 on Monday evening. You're asked to RSVP, and you can do so by email or by going to the Partners for Healthy Watersheds' Facebook page.
