Get on the bus! Get in the game! That’s the theme of the latest Red Cross blood drive. Lynne Tyler, executive director of American Red cross in the Finger Lakes, is encouraging everyone to support two of America’s pastimes, baseball and giving blood.

“Everyone who donates blood in April will be entered into a drawing for a $50 gift card to use toward team gear or tickets to the ball park to support your team.” In addition, everyone who donates will receive a free T-shirt.
And to make it easier to give blood, the bloodmobile will come to a neighborhood near you! The Red Cross blood mobile bus will be parked in the parking lot of the Red Cross chapter at 83 West Bayard Street, Seneca Falls, from 2 to 6 p.m. April 24. Donors can board the bus to donate blood.
Because of the limited space aboard the bus, appointments are recommended. Call 315 568-9436 to sign up for an appointment.
“Donations are down right now, so your help is urgently needed,” Tyler said.
For information about having the bloodmobile visit your event or neighborhood, call Melissa Piecuch at 585-760-5831.
