The National Weather Service in Buffalo has issued a Winter Storm Watch for Ontario, Yates and Steuben Counties, which is in effect from Sunday at 11 p.m. through Monday 7 p.m.
A heavy wet snow is expected to accumulate, especially in the higher elevations, where snowfall totals could reach 4 inches.

Winds are expected to be out of the northeast up to 40 miles per hour and visibility will under a half mile at times. This storm could also lead to the possibility of downed tree limbs and power lines causing power outages.
