Well, the special event took place over the weekend. Four baby hatchlings emerged by April 30, the fifth is still due.
Cameras set up at the Cornell Lab of Ornithology’s Sapsucker Woods in Ithaca are enabling viewers throughout the world to watch rare moments in the herons’ lives.

According to the school, more than half a million people in 166 countries have watched the herons in their daily lives.
