Be sure to get the coffee brewed and breakfeast eaten ahead of time . NYSEG has announced a planned power outage for 160 customers in the Long Point area of the Town of Torrey in Yates County for 9 AM Thursday for about 3 hours.
They are replacing 250 kVA transformers with larger capacity 500 kVA transformers for "improved service reliability" . They say the amount of system load in the area warrants the replacement.
The rain date for the work is Friday
