16 year old Megan Amber Waugh of Stanley was arrested on 05/04/12 at 6:08 PM after an incident at 2980 St Rt 5&20 in the Town of Hopewell.
According to Ontario County Sheriffs Deputies, the defendant was involved in a verbal argument
with her mother and when her mother attempted to take her phone away from her, the defendant punched her in the arm and stomach.
She was arraigned before the Hopewell Town Court and released on her own
recognizance. She will reappear before the Hopewell Town Court at a later date.
