Boeheim's Defamation Case Tossed By Judge

Syracuse Men's Basketball Coach Jim Boeheim is off the hook!  Supreme Court Justice Brian DeJoesph ruled Friday that Jim Boeheim's comments were not in fact defamating or false/ unjustified injury of the good reputation of another.

This case arose back in November of 2011 when the allegations by Bobby Davis and stepbrother Mike Lang surfaced about Boeheim's assistant coach and long time friend Bernie Fine.  The two former team ball boys say Boeheim slandered them when he said they were out for money by accusing former assistant coach Bernie Fine of sexually abusing them more than 20 years ago.  Boeheim supports his decision to speak out against the men as he is only looking out for a friend.

Supreme Court Justice Brian DeJoseph, a graduate of Syracuse University and its law school.
