Governor's Ex-Wife Grieving Over Loss of Best Friend

NEW YORK CITY -- At the funeral this weekend for Mary Richardson Kennedy, the ex-wife of Gov. Andrew Cuomo spoke about her friend. Kerry Kennedy met Richardson in boarding school, and the two were best friends; she introduced her to her older brother, Robert K. Kennedy, Jr.

Richardson-Kennedy committed suicide last week, a maid finding her hanged in a barn on the family's property in Westchester County.

A mother of four children, there's now a bitter feud between the deceased woman's family and some members of the Kennedy clan; none of her six siblings attended the funeral arranged by her husband.
