Groundbreaking Held for Kiosk in Watkins Glen

The Friends of the Catharine Valley Trail and the Finger Lakes Trail held a groundbreaking over the weekend for a new trail information kiosk at Lafayette Park in Watkins Glen. Mayor Mark Swinnerton.....

The Catharine Valley Trail is currently 9 miles in length, extending from the shores of Seneca Lake into the Southern Tier.  When completed, it will be 12 miles in length and will connect two State Parks, Watkins Glen State Park and Mark Twain State Park in Chemung County.
