Naples native Meghan Musnicki, who was recently named to the U.S. Olympic Rowing team and will compete in the 2012 Olympics in London, joined Brendan Harrington as a guest on Sunday morning’s edition of The Bren Zone, the weekly sports talk show on Finger Lakes News Radio.

Musnicki, a 29-year-old graduate of Ithaca College who helped the Bombers win two NCAA rowing titles, will compete in the women’s eight boat in London. She first qualified for the U.S. national team last year, and she has won a gold medal at the World Rowing Championships each of the past two years in the women’s eight boat.
The Bren Zone is a weekly sports radio talk show on Finger Lakes News Radio hosted by Brendan Harrington, who also grew up in Naples. Other guests on this week’s show included Syracuse University basketball beat writer Mike Waters of the Post-Standard and Rochester Red Wings play-by-play man Josh Whetzel.
