37 year old Timothy Knapp formerly of Lodi has been sentenced by Chemung County Court to an undefined term of 15 years to life on each of his four convictions of predatory sexual assault against a child.
Knapp was accused of having sexual contact with an 11 year old girl in 2011 when living in Elmira. According to reports, in December of last year Knapp was also arrested in Seneca County for allegedly hitting a 13 year old girl in Lodi and forcing her to drive a car. In January, Knapp was charged with one count of criminal obstruction of breathing and five counts of endangering the welfare of a child. He was accused of punching an 11-year-old girl in the face and repeatedly spitting in her face.
Knapp was convicted June 13 of all counts following trial.
