This year's annual Making Waves for Hospice swim across Canandaigua Lake held by the Finger Lakes Visiting Nurse Service will be held on Saturday August 11th. Margaret Wiant, Executive Director at the Finger Lakes Visiting Nurse Service was a guest on Finger Lakes Morning News, and she says you won't have any trouble signing up for the swim.
Since 2000, Dr. Kerry Graff has organized a one mile swim across Canandaigua Lake to benefit Ontario- Yates Hospice. The swim in in memory of her friend, Dr. David Reed. There is a thirty five dollar registration fee.

And The Ontario-Yates Hospice, a program of the Finger Lakes Visiting Nurse Service is having its Annual Memorial Butterfly Release Sunday, September 9. Margaret Wiant, Executive Director at the Finger Lakes Visiting Nurse Service was a guest on Finger Lakes Morning News, and she says the event will be held somewhere different this year.
The Notre Dame Retreat House is located at 5151 Foster Road Canandaigua, on the West side of Canandaigua Lake.
