It's been three weeks since Cayuga County Court Judge Thomas Leone found Ryan Brahney guilty in the death of Bridget Bell. Brahney won't be a free man again for over half a century. The 40-year-old was sentenced this morning in Cayuga County Court to 54 years to life in prison.
Brahney was convicted on two counts of 2nd degree murder in connection with the 20-11 slaying of his former girlfriend, Bridgett Bell in her Auburn apartment. Their three-year-old son was sleeping upstairs at the time.
