Another Rescue At Clark's Gully

Friday, we reported that three Canandaigua hikers had a rough night in the dark after falling down an embankment Thursday night at Clark's Gully in the Town of Italy. On Friday afternoon, the Yates County 911 center received another call from hikers in Clark's Gully. This time, four teens from Naples were hiking the gully around 5:00 when one lost his footing. 15-year old Malcom Makepeace fell 15 feet, injuring his leg. A ropes team helped Makepeace out of the gully. The other three teens were not injured. Makepeace suffered minor injuries.
