People in the Ontario County Town of Seneca have a big decision ahead on Election Day. Now you can only buy wine, beer or spirits at a store for off sale consumption but there aren't any stores.
There are three ballot items that would allow for sales in taverns, restaurants and year round hotels making it more likely those kind of establishments would start up. It's important for future town revenue. Right now the Town gets most of it money from Ontario County landfill payments. Town Supervisor John Sheppard says that deal ends in 2028.
The population of the town is 2,721 at the 2010 census. It includes the hamlets of Hall, Flint and Stanley.
